Step 1 of 3 — Create OAuth client in Google Cloud

One-time Google account setup. Takes about 3 minutes.

  1. Create a new Google Cloud project → (or pick an existing one). Name it whatever you want, no billing required.
  2. Enable both APIs: Gmail API · Calendar API — click each, then click ENABLE.
  3. Configure OAuth consent screen → click here. User Type: External. Skip the optional fields. Add yourself as a Test User.
  4. Create the OAuth Client ID → click here → CREATE CREDENTIALS → OAuth client ID → Web application.
  5. Paste this exact redirect URI:
  6. Click CREATE. Google shows you a Client ID + Client Secret.
